Blank ammunition is a type of cartridge that contains gunpowder but lacks a bullet or projectile. When fired, blank ammunition creates a loud noise and a muzzle flash, simulating the sound and visual effect of live ammunition without firing an actual projectile. Blank ammunition is commonly used in military training exercises, theatrical performances, and historical reenactments. It is important to handle blank ammunition with caution, as it can still cause injury or damage at close range. **

Drill ammunition, also known as dummy ammunition, is a type of non-functional ammunition used for training and practice purposes. It is designed to closely resemble live ammunition in size and shape but lacks the explosive or propellant components. Drill ammunition is used by military and law enforcement personnel to simulate loading, unloading, and handling of weapons without the risk of accidental discharge or injury. **

It is important to consider the intended use and to always have an adequate supply of ammunition for safety and preparedness. **
